Post Class Reflection
August 26
After a belly full of late afternoon meal, I attended Mr. Eak Prasad Duwadi sir's class. As always, our instructor had something unique for us to try. I was really worried that my full belly would overrule my urge to study and choke me into sleeping but the energy and enthusiasm sir had supported my choice to be present and I was really happy that I didn't miss my class.
As usual, we had sets of presenters who had their presentation on literature as well as on reports. The topics discussed today were "Travel Report" by Anjali, "Recommendation Report and Feasibility Report” by Mohit and Shubhechchhak and “Keeping Errors at Bay” by Sampurna and Rajaram
Being a fond traveler and a person that has been to most districts of Nepal, I understood how crucial it was to write travel reports. Not just for professional reasons, but for recreational and cherishing purpose, they serve as crucial tool for self development and observing beauty like never before. Travel reports not only limit themselves to where we have been but can be written to describe the setting, environment, background and overall feeling which are treasured and help us re-enjoy the moment years later.
I also understood about Recommendation Report and Feasibility Report. A recommendation report is usually used to provide the most suitable and applicable solution to a problem. It is also used to evaluate the possible solutions of a given problem so that one can be chosen. The possible solutions are proposed and evaluated after the identification of the problem. Feasibility reports are the reports that are written to examine whether a task or project would be beneficial or good to be conducted. This was the good experience for me.
And our class concluded with 'Keeping Errors at Bay', written by Bertrand Russell. This essay was a part of critical thinking. The essay described and suggested the ways of reducing every foolish mistakes made by people.
